Ok im a huge fan of mechanicals. I love the awesome flight and penetration and huge cuts they leave but i wanna try something new. I want to find a great 3 blade fixed head that fly's great and has great penetration and holes. I looking at the muzzy mx3 and g5 montecs i like the muzzys cause i can change the blades anyone use these ? or any other 3 blade fixed head ?

Any of the Magnus Broadhead products. 100% lifetime warranty. You damage a head in any way, short of losing it, and Magnus will replace the head or blades free of charge, no questions asked. They all fly great, are razor sharp, and perform when called upon.

I tried lots of BH in the last few years. The one I have settled on are QAD Exodus, Tru-Fire T-1 & NAP Hellrazors.

No issue shooting a slick trick or Muzzy just kind of small to me. I don't like the length of the Stinger, more leverage to bend/fail. I bought 6 and could never get myself to shoot them. They seem huge. I don't care for the powdered metal thing of the Montecs. Shot some Phat Heads, they whistled in flight.

Last thought. NAP Thunderheads killed lots of deer. I would use them too.

I would fight for my Hellrazors...just love'em. Simple and reliable....probably plenty of others out there just as good but I'm about done trying new ones.

Ok ive looked at so many heads in the last hour. the three i like most are muzzy mx3 , g5 montec and nap hellrazors. Out of all the 3 blades ive looked at those seem to be what im looking for i really like the muzzys.

I love my muzzy 3 blades. Hit hard and never fail me. I have killed lots of deer with them.

If you want replaceable blades look at the G5 striker and i just saw a sample pack of G5 heads it had a striker a montec and a T3 just so you know.

Give the Steelforce Phathead SOB a look. Its the best of both worlds, plus its tough as nails. I highly recommend them!

QAD Exodus is a solid head too. The full bladed ones are legal in most states not sure about the swept back ones. I shot a bear last spring with them and they group with field points on a moderately tuned bow. But for the money Slick Trick is a good value.

I'm doing the same thing this year. Do yourself a favor and check out the VPA line. I've shot both the 125 gr. Vented and nonveneted and both fly great. The blades are not replaceable though, they are milled from one solid piece of tool steel.
