Move back 10 yards every time that happens and shoot at different spots.

    I shoot 3d though. There's only one 12 point area sometimes 2.

Aim at different spots if shooting close. If you're shooting really far away, qualify for the olympics ;)

So then just put spots the size of the 12 ring on your target and shoot at the individual spots, one arrow per spot, then retrieve your arrow

Buy a case, fill it with spare nocks, field tips, and buy a dozen spare arrows, or start shooting 5 spot instead of 3D.

I try not to shoot the same spot. It gets a little expensive.

Move back to 40. Then 50. Then move back to 30 shooting 1" dots. 1-5/8" or so 12 rings get a whole lot easier to hit after that. Then move up to the 40-45yd open class for a challenge.

If you mean you are practicing only on a 3D then buy another target, lol it will pay for itself
