Hey, I recognize those road signs in your avatar! Caldwell Co?

I shoot almost everyday. Today I did a round of what I call walk, range, shoot. And then I just stayed at 48 yards because its right behind a little building I have and out of the wind. I shot off and on all afternoon.

It may sound weird, but I don't really like shooting all that much, I like hunting. I shoot so I can kill deer. I probably won't pick up my bows again until September. This time of year I'm scouting and shed hunting when I have free time.

I have not shot in months. Hopefully in a few weeks the snow will have melted enough where I can shoot in my yard. Looking forward to trying out the new strings on the old alpha max and my new fmj's.

I did that last year for the 1st time ever (and I've bow hunted since a kid) and it didn't work for me.... I put my Bow down last season at the end of the season which here in Md is the 31st of Jan and when I picked it up in early Sept I was freakin awful.... It took me several weeks to regain the form of being a successful shot...

Not this year... I have this far shot my bow at least once if not twice a week since the end of January and come August plan to go out 3-4 days a week for this upcoming season....
