Hey, Just wondering what camouflage patten you guys use and where you hunt? i.e. real tree xrta out of tree stand, real tree max-4 swamps, most oak break up tree stands….. or if you just still use the red plad thats cool! let me know! Thanks
I try to match my camo to my surroundings as best as I can. I wear mostly Realtree stuff but I own plenty of Mossy oak and Predator. Sitting still is is always gonna be the best camo.
Yeah haha I'm trying to do that but its hard to have soo many camo patterns when they are so expensive which one would you say is the best all round?
Realtree xtra is by far the best camo pattern!! Fits in any surrounds and looks great! Highly recommend it!
I wear Kuiu Vias and Predator Fall Grey and Brown Deception. I'd wear any camo with an "open" camo design.
Optifade open country from Sitka. Use it here in OK an in Colorado. Love that stuff. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I537 using Tapatalk
I like open patterns. I mostly wear predator camo in spring green or fall grey they are by far my favorite but I also like cabelas outfitter camo and bass pro shops red head camo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I don't put as much into camo patterns as some do. As long as its a neutral color I'm fine with it. Last season when it got cold I used my mossy oak shadow grass insulated bibs and a max 4 or duck blind hoody. I wore a mossy oak duck blind hat all season. Did fine. I had deer look at me sometimes but never spooked one. You're just a blob in a tree.
Whatever I can find on sale. I'm not too picky about pattern as much as I am brand. I try to use scent blocker as much as possible. I've always had good luck with them. Sent from my LG-E980 using Tapatalk
There's lots of good patterns out there but the one I like best is Predator Deception. The Deception green really seems to blend in well with my surroundings in the early bow season. As the season wears on and the leaves fall, I switch to the fall gray. Blessings.........Pastorjim
None, overpriced waste of money. I usually wear natural colors like tan or light grey, and I break it up by drawing very large brown "branches" on it with clothing dye or even permanent marker, though I'm not sure that is even necessary. You're just trying to break up your human shaped outline. Most camo patterns are too dark, and the patterns too small, for treestand hunting. They make guys look like big brown blobs up in the tree.
