Yeeeehaaa!! Turkey season is just around the corner! Who's ready? What obstacles do you think this years cold temps and snow will bring? How are you going to approach your season? Any thoughts in general about this years turkey season??

    1. I hope there are still some alive where I hunt
    2. This will be my first time bowhunting turkeys.
    3. I have two pretty good spots to hunt that both usually hold birds. My permit is early in the season. The table is set.
    4. There is a lot of snow that has to melt between now and April 23. Maybe some flooding?

This will be the first year I try to hunt turkeys and I am going to try my luck with a bow. Drove by a field the other day that had about 20 turkeys feeding in it, so I'm guessing the cold has not killed to many off.

Well it's about 45 degrees here into the mid 50s next week. So I think the birds will be pretty happy. Season opens in a little more than a month

I live for spring turkey season. We get 2 tags here in NY. I think I might split them up and take one with my shotgun and try for one with my bow. I haven't ever taken the bow turkey hunting but I think I'll try it this year.

Got 3 weeks and one day here in Tenn. I am pumped. First time ever going after these birds and I am excited. Good luck to everyone. I am looking forward to posting pics of my first bird as well as seeing all of the other birds that are harvested.

I'll be after them with the scatter gun. I just enjoy it too much to switch. Either way, I'm ready.
