You want to shoot does in the norther part of the state? I thought the deer population was in pretty rough shape in the north, with this winter I don't see any rebound, don't get why you're not happy with this?

I wish the electronic reg was in effect this year. Oh well, looks like Uncle Mike's in Trego might get one more burger & beer out of me yet.

I personally don't like electronic registration. It's fun going into town during gun season and seeing all the deer that are shot.

Yeah I'll definitely miss that too! Otherwise I don't mind the online registration though.. People are saying it'll promote poaching, but I think poachers are going to poach regardless of registration method.

Does online reg mean I'm allowed to quarter a deer on public land and pack it out? If so, hunting deep in the local public swamp just became more attractive..

If you think that people won't go to the bars to show off there deer and BS about the hunting I think your mistaken. They might not have to register them but they will still go. As far as the doe tags go, I am fine with that. I hunt down in the CWD zone and my doe numbers were down on my properties I hunt. I passed up all of the does this year to try and help them out. The neighbor shot 8 and was complaining how the deer numbers are down, hmmm I wonder why. Obviously some areas are different and have different deer populations but I think after the last two years this is a step in the right direction. Just my opinion.
