Matthews Creed, Matthews Chill and Chill R, maybe a Helix if any in stock. Hoyt Factor 34 and Factor 30. Any insight or preference on any of these bows?

Just go with what feels right. I thought the draw cycle was smoother on the Hoyt. The Matthews creed xs felt a lot like my pse.

I thought the Creed was sweet. I shot the Factor 34 but not the 30, I did however shoot the Carbon Spyder 30, something about the short 30 ATA throws me off, other than that the Factor is sweet and so is the Carbon Spyder Turbo.. The Chill didn't do a lot for me.... Enjoy it'll be fun!

I just bought the Faktor Turbo. Absolutely love it. 33" ata and 6" brace.

Shoot them all and when you have a few favorites go back and shoot them again a few days later before you make that final pick. Oh and take a deep breath and get rid of some of the excitement you have when shooting a new bow so you can actually tell if you like everything about it, the way it feels, sounds, etc..

for me, i went with the Hoyt CST. Almost went with the Elite E35. The other bows shot well for me, but the Hoyt CST just felt better, again, for me.

If your looking at the Chill R, check out the Mission Blaze. It is a very similar bow, same ata, very similar if not the same cams, don't rely on my judgement, but they felt the same on the range (remember, Ima newbie), and I was able shoot ridiculously small groups with both. To me, the blaze costing $400 less for the same performance was a no-brainer. Maybe as I get more experience I will be able to detect and appreciate the latent differences and advantages the extra $400 brings to the table, but for now...

Bear is making some really good bows that are really well built! Shoot them and try them, unless you have a big ego and money is no object and you can toss money out the window.

I shot a Faktor Turbo and thought it was a great bow. I ended up ordering a CPXL, but second choice was the turbo

So what did you end up shooting and did you decide on one yet?

I shot the Carbon Spyder and was phenomenal. Completely dead on the shot with no hand shock. I do like the draw better on my Spyder 30 though, but I haven't yet shot the Faktor.

Shot a Matthews Creed and Hoyt Faktor 30/Faktor 34 today. At the moment I am favoring the Faktor 34, but that could change after another trip to the shop.

Coug, shoot the original Chill. I prefer it over the other models and also shoot the E35.

I don't really care which one you get as long as it helps us win a 3rd straight title :D

It's crazy so many people say to look/shoot Matthews, Hoyt, etc but never mention Bear. Seems as if people shoot them simply because they want to be labeled with the Matthews/Hoyt following. Shoot everything you can and don't count the smaller guys out.
