Tried one and it felt really weird...seems to be a lot of people using them and I was told that I will get used to it quickly and won't want to shoot anything else.....my old caliper wrist strap tru ball has always done fine but it's getting some age on it and I'm looking for a new one....what's everyone using and what would you recommend?

Spot hogg wise guy. Hook style. Super touchy trigger. But I really like the zero travel trigger.

I have a Truball T handle I think, or Truefire, I can't remember. But I really like it, I don't think I could go back to a wrist release anymore. The best part for me is not having it strapped to my wrist the whole time clanging on things and being in the way

I got a T.R.U. Ball Max Pro 4 and absolutely love it. When I first began shooting it, my accuracy sucked and it felt awkward. Once I got used to it though, my accuracy improved a good bit. I can get a better anchor and it also helped me to not punch the trigger like it did with my old Scoot wrist strap release. It takes time to get used to it but in my opinion is defiantly worth it.

Love the idea of not having to strap it on every time I walk in the woods....the hard core 4 finger was the one I tried...I'll have to check out the other ones mentioned

Don't remember which one I have but I switched last summer and love it. Don't see me going back to wrist straps any time soon.

It took me a couple weeks of playing with it but it has become my favorite. It's very adjustable, and that's the reason I played with it so much....
It's very stream line, and light weight in your hand ... I have the heavy spring in it and adjusted it to have zero travel, it just breaks. Honestly I go back and forth between the exxuss and the hot shot ( Potts) and I most likey will sell all my others.

What about if you have it clipped to your d loop is its pretty steady on there like it won't come off unless u touch the trigger. Like bumping it and stuff won't risk it coming off?

It's not coming off unless you hit the barrel. Your fine leaving it dangling ...you just have to be careful grabbing it. Not just with the Exxus but with any thumb release.

no thanks, I like being able to hold draw for 5 minutes while scratching my nose, adjusting my glasses, and generally not thinking about holding the release. The muscles in your back are stronger then the ones in your palm/wrist that a grip requires.

I don't dispute a thumb giving a more consistent anchor and helping to battle trigger punch. But noone can say a thumb is easier to hold on draw for long periods of time.

I only hunt and I have a Truefire Hurricaine release.
