    Arrow Games:

Anything goes, describe the games you like to play, rules, points, etc. that you use shooting arrows. Partners, single, teams, whatever.

The only real "game" that I played while shooting is poker. We took a fridge box and flattened it out, then we stapled a whole deck of cards to it face up. To make it interesting we placed it at 50 yards and the first to get the high hand won....a beer (don't worry we drank them after we were done shooting for the day).

We use to be able to buy a paper target that had cards printed on it. We use to play all kinds of card games.
Throw each others arrows and where it landed in where you had to shoot.
    Bust-a-nock(I wouldn't play that now)
Me and my son have started playing a game of shoot the vitals on a cardboard drawing of a deer and keeping score.
That's 4 off the top of my head, I'm sure there was more.

"Backyard World Championships" Best arrow from any distance, loser gets the arrows and every couple rounds has to get the arrows and beers! We usually shoot every week, there is a traveling trophy and sometimes money laid down. the person who comes in last in rounds won has to bring the beer for next time. Its not really a game just something we started doing and have fun with.

Are there any good block targets that have any of these games on them?

Tape a ping pong ball and attach it to a string. Start it swinging and first one to pin the ball to the target wins. Usually we play at 20+ yards

Wouldn't the first arrow in the target stop it from swinging?

Depends how close it was to the ball, so yes sometimes. Still pretty hard to hit when it isn't swinging!
