just trying to figure out what kind of broadheads to use for whitetail deer I bought my bow a month ago just wondering if I should go mechanical or fixed blade my boy is shooting 212fps pulling back 65lbs im thinking fixed blade cause I wonder if it has got enough velocity for a mechanical to operate properly thanks

I shot my first buck with a NAP killzone and im pulling rougly #55. Worked great didnt find a problem with it expanding or anything, was great for the price. Love it and ill stick with it until i find something wrong with them. I would definately reccomend them!!!!!!

tfarah22 I heard the same thing I also heard g5 sends more workers to the hospital for cuts trying to set the blades in them than any other company how true that is I'm not sure that is what I was told

They also make a nap kill zone low Ke. Slightly smaller diameter for better penetration.

What bow/arrow are you shooting thats only flying 212fps? Both my bows are 65lbs and shoot in the 280's with a 440gr arrow

At least an arrow weight of 520 grains, or a very slow bow.

Yeah arrows must be very heavy for that low speed.

Muzzy a are fool proof and you can never go wrong with them. Slick trick 2nd.

300 grain? Or 300 spine? If your arrows are only 300grains, they are too light for your bow. You need 5grains per pound which means you should be at a minimum of 325grains. If it is 300 spine, you are probably a bit overspined and shooting a heavier arrow. Heavy arrow is not a bad thing, but shooting that velocity, i say a fixed blade is your best bet

The Montec's are wicked!! Killed 2 with them this year. I would recommend the Montec's to anyone no matter what set up they have. Great penetration, good holes, and the best part is they are nearly indestructible!! Shot a doe through the shoulder at 20 yards on a quartering shot with a complete pass through, she went 30 yards and was done. I sharped the blades and put it back into the quiver. Amazing head.

I have shot the g5 strykers, the montecs. both flew very well, The stryker damn near cut my thumb in half, sharp as hell, I then switched to the NAP hell razors, and they are sharp and fly well also, but This season I switched over to the NAP killzone trophy tips, shot a buck this year, huge bloodtrail and he went 30 yards and was out for the count. I have heard good things about slick tricks as well.
