    I just wanted to start a thread about what your first bow was and how you got it.

    For starts, my first bow was a ben pearson recurve that my dad found in a trash can outside of lowes when I was 12.

    My first bow was a Jennings Super T Hunter in 1975. It had metal hangers to hold the "eccentric wheels". I remember it was a fast bow at the time. I almost made 180fps. AND I killed deer with it......speed is not everything. I wish I still had it.

    My first bow was a 94' Browning Fox II that my dad bought me when I was 9. I still have it and now my daughter shoots it!!

    My first was a Saunders Recurve. Purchased it when I was about 25 and killed a deer with it the first year.

    Well mine was a Jennings Machined extreme that I bought back in the early '90's and is still the only bow that I have. Friend of mine bow hunted and I wanted to learn but our work schedules changed and it's spent most of its life in the case ever since. I plan to spend time shooting it this year and trying my hand at hunting with the old bow again this coming fall

    '09 pse bowmadness xs. Was new to the sport and bought it lightly used. Still shooting it. I can't complain about it, it does everything I ask of it.

    Dad bought my brother and me Stemler fiberglass bows when I was about 7 years old. I shot my first squirrel with that bow but also shot the neighbors central AC unit. Back then that was a BIG DEAL to have in circa 1963. Needless to say I didn't see the bow for quite some time.

    First bow or first hunting bow? First bow, I was 9 I think, it was a little pse youth bow 24lb. First hunting bow, 10 years old mission menace, bought it my self.

    1987 I bought myself a 60# Browning Cobra. I bought it out of Cabelas magazine and it was delivered UPS. How times have changed. Man, I`m gettin old!!!!!!!!
