They are legal in Washington now, so I was wondering if I should get a set? Are they worth it?

They look sweet and you are able to see where your arrow hits way easier. Worth it in my book.

Try different ones and see what you like. I have heard a lot of good things about Carbon Express Launch Pads. I use Nockturnals and I like them a lot. Some Lighted Nocks fit some arrows better, so shop around, pick the guys brains here that use them, check Youtube and other places to see what works best with your arrows.

I use them too. I love having them, it's something that sticks out when they are sitting in the brush because you missed the bunny. Worth while investment in my book.

I love having them on my arrows. I use Nockturnals, haven't had any problems to speak of. I generally swap them out after killing a deer, as the blood tends to seep into all the internals of the nock.

Hey Cole I use the nockturnals as well an was having the same problem. I found if you can get them in water before most of the blood dries inside the nock. It will prolong there life a while longer!

Do you just dunk them straight into the water and swish it around? I have also heard that dipping them in rubbing alcohol works, but I have never tried it.

I used lumenoks for a while till I found out about foc. They're pretty heavy and dropped me down to around 8%. Recently got some pdp weights and may go back to using them. Nice to see where you hit on longer shots.

Use them before for the traditional bow hunter clubs lobby to get them made illegal in your state:(

I only use luminocks and CE launch pads. Much easier to turn off.

I use the nockturnals and love them. I've used the easton ones and the lumenoks and have found that the nockturnals are just easier on the arrow and extremely bright. great battery life too. When the ones I have now die out, I'm going to keep them for practice during the off season so the weight stays the same.

Ya I'll throw them just in a half a bottle of water an shake the living hell out of it. Never thought about rubbing alcohol might give that a shot. I guess my only concern with that would be the alcohol eating away at that soft plastic collar that turns the nock off after being shot.

All lighted nocks have problems once covered in blood ive shot and hunted with them all luminok are crap the launch pads are not that durable and dont last long i shoot the nockturnals in red and love them i use them for alot of night hunting yotes and for whitetails i found that using warm water works good for cleaning them my buddy uses warm alcohol ive never done that but also you can replace the battery in them all you need is a new battery and superglue.

I bought the Lumenoks because that's all I could find near the end of season.

I shot a doe on 1-20-14, and the Lumenok has blood on the inside.

    Thanks for the tip guys!

I love having a lighted nock,it makes seeing where your arrow hits and then finding your arrow much easier. I've been using nocturnals but the last deer I shot it didn't come on. Now that some of you mention it, I may have shot it through a deer or two already and may have not got it cleaned well enough. I used one as a practice and I don't know how many shots I have through that one and its still bright and works well.

Switched to lighted nocks last season and really like them. I'm using the CX Launchpads. I like how easy they are to install and the fact that they can be easily rotated once installed so you can adjust for vane clearance.

Definitely worth the money IMO. I used to use the old CX lighted nocks. Switched to Nockturnal last season. The blue light is easy to see in the woods and when daylight is starting to fade. Makes arrow recovery MUCH easier
