Just got back from our local shop with a black tactical chill R on order!!! I'll be shooting 65lbs and the guy there said I should be around 340 spine arrow with 125 gr heads. So I'll be looking at the new arrow line up for 2014. I'll probably end up with the new deep six fmj shooting 125gr kill zones.

It felt like a dream to shoot!!!!!!

Congrats on the purchase, I'm sure you'll love it! I just put a new set of Zebra strings/cables on mine and I'm in the process of getting it dialed back in so I can shoot this off season. It's a great bow. :tu:

On a side note - the D6 Killzones are only available in 100 grains. If you really want 125 you'll have to stick with the standard FMJ/HIT insert.

Good luck with the new rig. Post pics when you get it!

Sounds like a nice bow. Should have mine finished in a week or so. Shooting it at 70# with Beman 340 hunters and 100gr tips. Mostly for Elk and whitetail.

I'm curious, what made you like the chill R over the chill?

I figured I'll probably have this bow for at least 5- 10 years so I'd rather have the new one.
