GOOD squirrel recipie

I went out today to hunt deer on the ground, NOT MY THING<, my knees and ankles hurt so bad so i nailed a few squirrels and went on my way. I am going to hang a stand down their so i can deer hunt. so whats a good way to cook squirrel. I hear alot of people say squirrel pot pie is good

 

Squirrel and dumplings, squirrel noodle soup, shredded squirrel meat tacos, Kentucky fried squirrel legs. "I think that's about it" but naw there is a million ways

Squirrel stew is great. I boiled mine for a couple hours till the meat fell off the bone. Keep an eye on the water though, it will evaporate and more will need to be added through out. Then just add meat to favorite recipe. I still think it taste like the dark meat on a thanksgiving turkey, with a nuttier flavor. Google will give you some good recipes to get you thinking what you would like to make.

Wrap it in bacon put into the BBQ when it's done eat the bacon and throw the rat away.

 

If I brought a squirrel home and asked my wife to cook it, it would be instant divorce.....hmmmmm........I think I'll go squirrel hunting!:p

 

Brown it in a pan with virgin oil. add a can of cream of mushroom soup.
