Kicking myself hard

    OK, Thursday the 7th I did an all day sit. I also hung a camera near my set and started a mock scrape. I knew I would be tired Friday after my all day sit on Thursday. I woke Friday very sore and very tired. I opted not to go on Friday, knowing I would probably do another all day sit today. Well since I didn't go Friday, you can already imagine what happened. Three shooters walked right by that stand in the morning in the daylight and one in the evening. One of the downsides of trailcams, it's there when you're not. I definitely should've drug my butt out there no matter how I felt.

    Good news was you weren't there for them to bust you. I bet I can guess which stand you'll be hunting next lol. Good luck, they have no reason not to walk through there again.

    Yea like Pat said thats why I hate trailcams sometimes.

    I had the same thing happen the 7th. Sat in ground blind cause I got new carcorder and wanted to play with it and 9 pointer walked right by one of my other stands. Does make ya wanna keep at it though.

    Had a giant 8 pt. walk under one of my stands last fall.

    Still sick about it. Neighbor killed him a few weeks later.

    Know the feeling, had one of my shooters standing in front of my cam and blind on haloween, only time I have seen or had a shooter out in daylight.
