Deer down opening morning in Wisconsin

    Not the biggest deer in the woods but I couldn't pass on the velvet. Was disappointed in the shot, the shot was a little far back I got a little liver and[​IMG] then stomach. Has to track for about 250 yard speck by speck hardly any blood.

    Nice job. PS, in the future when you id a gut hit back out, watch a football game and then start trailing. They can not survive a liver hit, 45 minutes tops without bumping them. Google velvet preservation in order to preserve that fuzzy unique buck. Congrats!
