Finally, after months of living in the new house, I got around to building a workbench, and getting my equipment moved over from my parents. It's not complete, but it's getting there. Best part is it was completely free. It's 11.5' long, 23.5" deep, and 37 3/4" to the bottom of the Formica. Rough cut 4x4's for the legs, 2x4's from the den walls we ripped out. Formica counter-top from the office room we gutted downstairs. The peg board was already in place when we bought the place. I'm pretty happy with how it's coming along.
Liking it bud. I am coming up to see it when it's complete. Looks like you got the place coming along.
Looks nice Matt. All you need is a beer fridge and a tv and your good to go :d I dont think my garage has ever been that clean :d
Thanks, guys. I couldn't start this until I got a lot of my water issues straightened out. I'm still working on the grading at the entrance of the shop, but the shop itself stays dry now, so I can go ahead and bring in the tools, archery equipment, etc. I still need to put sheeting down on the bottom for shelving, and possibly frame out doors for cabinets, but as it stands, I can use it which is all that matters.
