I've grown tired of my one lonely mount on the wall all by himself. I have two other mounts sitting in the guest bedroom that need to be hung to keep him company. My current mount is about 8.5 feet (mid-body) from the floor. The tallest point of the wall/ceiling is 16.5' and the shortest is 12.5'. Which option do you guys think would look the best? I have one left, one right, and one straight facing mount. The straight is going in the middle and the other two will be looking each others' direction. I have that much covered but just need opinions on the layout.

Also, I feel like my current mount is a little high (I like them slightly above eye level) but with the given wall, might have to just live with that. I need an elk! :)

Should I arrange the mounts on a diagonal to follow the slope of the ceiling?

Or something like this? Reversed? Another arrangement?

I think the three diagonal wouldlook great or the one in the middle two low either setup. Would be good. Cuz you still have lots of room on that wall

When I read the text and saw the first picture I already thought to put them Diagonal. I think that would look great even though the other one would look great too. Its a tough choice but if they were my mounts I think I would go diagonal.

So you guys don't think the one on the left would be too high? You'd have to be on the 2nd floor to see it. :)

I don't think so....think it would look good and have a nice flow up to the second floor

Either would look good, but I kinda like the second option. It balances out on wall nicely and would work nice w. the line of the balcony.

Which ever position you choose, make sure that you leave the proper space to fill in with future mounts. Hard to explain, but, plan it out now as if you were filling the wall with mounts, then remove all but the current 3 mounts and see which one you like best.

I like the second option. Maybe the next couple mounts could be sneak forms or a wall pedestal mount with the chin down that way they are somewhat looking down at the main floor.

    Something like this

The second option is by far a better choice... and I think even that one should lowered just a tad to allow future growth.

With a wall like that you should be able to get about 5 mounts on when finished.

What else do you have you could add to the wall?

Cool plack. A skin. Tradition bow or old muzzle loader. Trophy on wall shelf.

Wall unit with other hunting stuff in them.

Both ways looks good but adding other elements will add more interest to the wall.

And yes. You need an Elk:)

Thanks for the feedback fellas. I was leaning more towards the second option myself but a friend suggested the diagonal method and figured I'd at least consider it.

Thanks for the tip, Greg. That's a good idea.

Afflicted - Really don't have anything else to add. I have some euros but the wife says no and I don't think I'd want them up there anyway. I'll come up with something eventually.

I like the diagonal! That was my thought before seeing the picture of it too.
