I use to practice at 90yards, would have loved to had more room to shoot at 100 yards:(

Killed my second deer ever with a now at 43 yards. I used to practice out to 100 yards just for fun, this was before I discovered a lot of things in life and had a lot more time to shoot. Nowadays I don't shoot as much and won't shoot at a deer past 35 yards in a perfect situation.

Why set a max for your practice range?

I regularly practice out to 100. Furthest hunting shot was 44.

Longest shot was 55 on a black bear, i always try to get as close to the game i hunt, but that was not possible in the situation there, i am comfortable at shootin out to 60 yrs, and practise out to about 100.

It is my first shot during practice and I regularly practice 90 yds. My longest kill shot was 79 yds on a spot and stalk antelope. I average about 100 arrows a day during the off season and 50 during.

44 yards on an antelope. For me, it's about how close, not how far. :)

For me it is 60 yards in practice. Don't think I'd take a shot on a deer past 30 yards. ( I'm a newb)

I took a doe two years ago at 44 yards. I normally practice out to 60, but limit myself to 40 on live game. This deer happened to be a shade over it, but was in an open field, no wind that evening and she was feeding, completely relaxed and unaware of my presence.

My longest kill is at 45 yards and the longest distance I practice at is 65. I'm looking to expand my practice distance this year, it sure makes 45 yard shots seem much easier.

I shot my first 2 deer last season at 22 & 34 yards. I regularly practice at 40yards at home(thats the most safely available)and 60 yards at work (the current limit of my HHA sight, but planning on 100 yard practice sessions this off-season)
