Albino coon

Anybody know how much an albino coon would go for. Just saw one in my woods when i was putting coon traps out. Would've shot it but it was in a den with another coon.

 

I would have shot it in a split second!

 

It's illegal to shoot them when they are inside the tree, but besides that it was twenty feet up!! lol

 

Who said it was inside a tree?? hahahaha but naaa id make sure that you shoot whenever your "legally" aloud to!

 

not sure exactly, but deffinetly top lot, i caught a 5xl the other day hopeing to get around 33 maybe for that one, as for the albino maybe up to 40 bucks

 

Do the regs say anything about gathering firewood while trapping? Grab a chainsaw, albino coon will no longer be UP in a tree. Lol on a serious note, thats a heck of a sighting. Hope you get'em and get a nice check, bet thats some pretty rare fur

 

If you do get it, a taxidermist would probably may more than the fur buyer.

Well didn't catch him tonight but did catch two other coons. I caught one by its nose in a dog proof trap! Kinda strange! lol Hopefully catch him tomorrow!!

 

I wouldn't sell it. I'd mount that sucker!

 

That thing would end up in my room if I trapped him. That would be sweet!

 

Keep us posted, that would be a very cool catch!

 

My brother in law sent me a pic of his friend that caught one. I'll see if i can get it from him again and post it.
