The second bow isnt ready yet is what a few inside reps told me..supposed to be out in a couple months
My buddy has an uncle who's brother knows a guy that works with...........................................................................
Release a new bow 6 months after everyone else? Sure! Obviously, your not in the "know" or this senseless thread would have not been started.
I seriously doubt that Bowtech would put that much energy, time and money into pumping up the debute of the Experience at the ATA if it wasn't THE bow for the year. They've been known to release a bow here and there throughout the year (Air Raid comes to mind), but I seriously doubt you'll see anything else from them.
Why do people care about the latest bow so much? Shoot your bow and get good with it, a new bow doesn't make any of us any better.
I spent 5 days with every facet of the company at the ATA show and believe me, not a single whisper or misspoken word of another bow.... if it's true, which I highly doubt, no one.... NO ONE within the company was talking about it and I doubt there is "inside reps"... that leaked it anywhere else either...
they might release another LE bow like they did with the destroyer but i doubt they have a totally brand new bow coming out
Are you sure? My dads ex-girlfriend has a uncle who's first cousin has a brother that knows a guy that said no......
What are you talking about? They've been making single cam private label bows for Cabelas for years. Did anyone tout this bow as the mysterious late release flagship? Frankly, you guys are reaching.
Bowtech covered this base when they put out Diamond. I think with the attachment of their name to a bow built for Cabela's, an all that is given up when that happens you run the risk of changing how your customer base perceives your products. To back this up lets take a look a Diamond. What do I think about when I think Diamond Bows? I don't think Bowtech, I think Cabela's, Gander mt ect ect...
While I see your point, I do not think this move indicates anything about "hitting rock bottom". Hell, Matthews puts there name on everything from bows to camo toilet paper these days. PSE is in every shop and catalog you see. The point is, you have to get your name out there, on more products, in front of more eyes. Bowtech has been seriously lacking in that area for years. Sure there is Diamond, Octane, Stryker, etc. But the "by Bowtech" isn't as noticeable. I believe Hoyt is about the only company that doesn't do this these days. They dumped Reflex a long time ago. Matthews, for example, is a marketing machine. They have pages upon pages in magazines, television shows sponsored, pro hunters shooting the latest Matthews bow, wearing Mathews lost camo, Matthews boots, Matthews CX arrows, Matthews bow case and it was all driven to the woods in their Matthews powered pickup. In other words, its all about exposure. I believe this is just the beginning. I think a lot of companies will be building "for Cabelas, Bass Pro, etc" bows with their logo on it.
All I know is my buddy has a Red Head Blackout...one of the best shooting bows I have shot. The Guy as Bass Pro said they were made by Bowtech "Diamond". IMO...I don't think it rock bottom at all. Just another way for them to make more money. As bad as we might not like...thats what every company is all about.
