    If you could make just one change to your home states deer season what would it be and explain why you would make that change. Please limit your responses to a single item.


    The one change I would make would be to change NY regular firearm season from about 28 days to an 7 day season, start on a Monday and end on the next Sunday.

    Start our bow season in November instead of October and end the season after February. A good portion of Alabama hasn't experienced a rut during hunting season for a while now because the peak of the rut has been during the month of February in recent years. So I would like to push the beginning and ending of hunting season back 1 month.

    In Illinois, really? In over-populated, suburban areas maybe. From what I hear, most of the state is complaining about seeing fewer deer than ever (me included) . I think Earn-A-Buck, would be a disaster.

    I would be more in favor of antler restrictions.

    No more bucks for shotguns. Shotgun season would be Doe ONLY just like rifles in the few counties that allow that.

    In western nc, open archery season back up after the 3 week rifle season. Go from Dec 10-Jan 1.

    I'm pretty happy with Kansas laws. Sometimes I wish we could get 2 bucks, but then there would be less big bucks around. I just feel greedy when a big buck comes by after I shot one earlier in the season. Doing the right thing sucks sometimes :lol:

    Hmm just one is tough. I'd like to see an increase in NRP.

    My law change would be: MD

    Separate bag limits for certain public grounds. Both does and bucks with the bucks having certain antler restrictions.
