After hunting with the recurve pictured below for 17 straight years It was time to replace It. 7 bear were taken with It and right around 30 some deer were also taken by It. A few years ago It started loosing pounds. It was originally at 73lbs at my draw length but It's now 58lbs. Top limb has had a few splintering Issues the last couple years along with some noise with It too. I might finish the year out with It yet. Not sure what I'm going to do.

Man, that's a beautiful bow there! I've been considering a custom made recurve by a local guy and seeing this makes me want it even more!

Its like an old shotgun grandpa used and handed down threw the years, you just got to hang it above the mantle so its always there to look at and have the memories of. Nice bow to say the least.

Beautiful bow. I have always loved the craftmanship in a traditional bows...if only I could shoot one with any degree of accuracy. Congratulations on the new bow and many fond memories of the old....

That is fine piece of craftmanship. The checkering and inlay on the grip is gorgeous.

Wow, what a gorgeous piece of functional art! I love it. Much respect for all of you guys that hunt with traditional gear. Really cool. Steve, wish you had made it back down. I have passed a bunch of real studs the last 10 days or so. It is starting to wind down, but was really good for a few days.
