Arrow suggestions please.

Looking for a couple different set ups.

1. A 3D set up. I am thinking the new full bore. Or Easton fat boys.
Bow will be set at 63lb, 29" draw for this one. arrows around 28"

2. Hunting arrows. I have no clue as to what I want yet.
Set up will be 70lb, 29" DL, 28" arrows.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

 

Stick, try 1/2 doz of the Easton ACC Pro Hunting Arrows. I also use the Carbon Express Mayhem as well. The shoot great on my CRX-32 with no sight re-adjustment. The only way you will know is to try some. Proof's in the 'pudding'

Look great, fly great, easy to see

 

For hunting I think it's hard to beat the Carbon Express Maxima Hunter. Very strong arrow that is very durable.

X2 I have been shooting different arrows since last season and the CX Maxima is far the best to me for a hunting set up

 

for hunting i like the easton fmjs.

 

I would suggest Beeman ICS bowhunters. I love those arrows

After 3 of my ICS Speeds broke in the past week when hitting a 3D target, I'll pass.

 

The speeds are a weaker arrow. I have had only one that broke and that's when a deer rammed into a tree.

ICS Hunters are definitely not good arrows IMO. I used them last season and it seemed like they break in the tiniest collisions.

I would vouch for Easton Axis or Axis FMJ's. FMJ's are heavy on the GPI, so they are good for kinetic energy.

 

Easton Axis with the 340 spine. Best arrow I have shoot. ICS hunters were too weak IMO. I have shot the CX maxima hunters and they are a good arrow but the penetration you get with the easton nano arrows is superior to most other arrows.

 

I love the Easton FMJ's and would definitely recommend them for hunting. However if your also looking for a 3D specific you probably want to go with a wider shaft. I have been shooting the FMJ's for the last 4 years so I don't have any other recommendations.

 

All the 3d guys at my club shoot the fatboys.. I think mainly for the extra diameter which helps get those extra points.. Me and a couple of guys are trying out the new easton injection arrows they have their own broad head setup and so far we are pretty happy.. I will let you know once we down some bucks.. I must add neither one of these are cheap.. If cost is a factor I say stick to Behman

 

ONe point on the Injection's if you decide to try them. You have to cut them a bit longer than your normal length when using the BIG NASTY because the broadhead actually screws down around the arrow shaft. This basically brings the blades back a bit and we have had them hit the rest. So be careful.. But give them a look.. They are AWESOME.
