    Well a lot of you guys know how last year, after killing 3 deer with my bow breaking a long drought of no deer with my bow for years ... all my stuff got stolen while I was at work. I had EVERYTHING from my clothes, my backpack and all that was in it, and my bow and all that goes with that in my car as I was going to head out to my hunting spot for an afternoon hunt.

    I reported what happened and so many of you from Justin, to the mods, to all that heard offered me whatever they could ... I am a proud man ... not use to charity, tho it has been extended to me in the past, mostly by family. I was in a bind, so I was offered a HSS vest that I needed for shotgun ... and then I was offered a 2008 Guardian with a Spot Hogg site and a limb driver rest for free ... I tried to pay for it, but he wouldn't take any money. It was a totally humbling experience ... he wishes to remain anonymous ...

    the guys and gals on this site are top-notch ... like none other

    Fast Forward to Sunday ... I finally started to shoot the Guardian ... it felt weird not shooting my Drenalin ... but this bow is a sweet shooter! I was grouping them around 3" at 30 yards in short order.... then the same group at 40 yards ... and then today ...just a few days and a couple dozen arras later .... this!

    043.jpg This was my first and it will be my ONLY Robin Hood ever. I have broke nocks, ruined fletching, but never this .... the worm has turned and I am embarking on a new chapter in my bowhunting life ..... I wish my season wasn't 5 1/2 weeks away :mad:

    Thank you Jesus for BH.COM and all the guys and gals that make it what it is ... from Todd all the way down to the newest members ... I love you guys ... I really do.

    In His Name,

    Preacher Tony

    There are some really genuine, generous men and women on this website. Tony, you are a machine, ready to hit the woods, kill-fun-do style! Last year was an oustanding year for you in terms of number of deer killed...this year the BIG BOY will meet his match in the form of PT!

    I remember when you told that story last year. The reaction of the members is just another reason this is the best forum there is. I'm glad it all worked out for you in the end. [insert smack talk here] Hoping to get on a team for the contest, but yet to have one assigned... lol Best of luck this year.

    Good luck this season Tony. We expect to see multiple pictures of dead deer with your smilin' face above them.

    Bowtech = robinhoods

    Matthews = no robinhoods

    Hmmmm....:poke:

    I am really happy to see that you are gonna be able to get back at it PT, I wish you the best of hunting this year.
    Hopefully I will get to get out there myself this year and just enjoy my woods again.

    That is dang right about this site PT! I just handed off my spare bow to a Pastor of a buddy of mines church. He does that for his living and pastors dont really bring in a bunch of money! It was collecting dust in my garage so I figured it is better with someone who will be using it than sitting in my garage while my Bowtech Destroyer does the killing! Buddy anything you need I am here for you since you are my Cold Hunting Buddy! BUT team 6 will be put under the dirt with the worms!

    Thanks guys .... a lot of times the good that comes out of a bad situation ends up making you more thankful and appreciative than if it never happened. Am I glad it happened? No, but I am sure glad for the response from you guys, even tho I didn't expect it. I thank God for it :)

    My only concern is I am shooting a Bowtech now ... Whodathunkit??? A Mathews guy shooting a Bowtech AND getting his first Robin Hood with it .. :confused: :D
