I was wondering if you can shoot a 2 blade rage through the shoot through mesh on the ground blinds. Dont think you can because I assume the blades would deploy, but wasnt sure. Any info will be helpful.

You have to be careful shooting through the windows of groundblinds, because sometimes there are hunters inside. You could hurt somebody.

I'd find something different to shoot at, such as a wild animal or a block target.

lol, smartass comment of the day :tu:

I wouldn't try it, but to each his own I reckon. Try shooting through a blind with windows at a target

HAHA! Everybody wants to be a comedian. Yall know what I meant. Can you shoot a rage OUT of a ground blind window with the shoot thru mesh> Not IN a groundblind with shoot thru mesh. That was a good one though. lol

I've heard of it being done, but I wouldn't. I wouldn't even shoot a fixed blade through mesh, but that's just me.

I thought this was about forgetting your ninja gear and black face paint.

This is the stance I take. But I have never tried. I read a few days ago where someone has done it with the o-rings on the broadhead to keep it closed, but to me it just sounds risky.
I think either way, you should try it first and let us know the results.

Most ground blinds have a tag on them to NOT shoot any mechanical blades through the mesh.
I tried shooting a rage through mine at a target and a fixed blade. Both seemed to be off target by a bit at only 20 yards.
So now I will always keeps the screens down

I have shoot fixed blade through the mesh and they are alittle low at 25yards. But this past spring we found leaving are blinds out for a couple of weeks the deer got use to the mesh not over the windows. They would walk pass and feed inside of 10yards. So I'm going to give it a try without it in a couple of weeks.
