That almost looks too bright to me. I like my camo to be a little duller.

Love it but does Predator Camo really need improved?

    Can it get "too" busy?

Is it for the eye candy buyers?

I like it but I fall back to my original question.

I gave my feedback when I first saw it way back... much too busy for my tastes.

I understand the need for new designs from a sales standpoint... but it goes against the idealogy of an open-concept pattern and lends itself to being much more prone to the "blobbing effect" of other mass-marketed patterns.

Will the masses of uneducated hunters who've been "intrigued" by Predator for a while now find this more appealing when held at arm's length? Sure... and hopefully, that'll be good for sales, which will in turn help fund the bottom line so they can keep coming out with more items in Fall Gray.

Almost looks as Rob said "busy". If they are trying to go main stream I can see why because it is "pretty". Looks to be less open than anything before. I would and want to buy some of their camo, but I would not buy that.

I think its funny, The other guys keep making theirs look like Predator and Predator keeps moving in the direction of the other guys. I don't even like Blue Bowstrings on my hunting bow, I sure don't want in blended into my camo.
    What you think Matt?

I love it the way it stands out,to bad there's all the colours we don't get up here in ALberta. The 3d is amazing, like Rob said, does Predator need more pattern's??

I've been wanting to get some Predator for some time, but I really don't like the way that pattern "looks".

I have a Primos vision blind with predator all purpose deception, I like that pattern. But I don't think they put it on clothing... atleast I haven't found any. It's not on their website.

Looks like they're going the route that the bigger companies (RealTree, Mossy Oak) are taking.. Funny thing is the bigger companies are starting to mess around with more open patterns :D

    Word.

Personally I saw no reason to go from fall grey to deception.

    But they did that too.

My thoughts pretty much mirror Rob and Greg's. They are trying to make the pattern more appealing to those that aren't educated on why high contrast patterns work.

If they are going to do that, the main background high contrast blocks from the original grey and brown patterns should stay, and maybe add some dark colored tree bark style pattern to the part that is now a black overlay on the original gray and brown patterns. The deer wouldn't see a difference with that, it would still be high contrast, and it would maybe be a bit more appealing to those that don't get it with the original patterns.

    Just MHO.......

With that said, this new stuff is definitely better than most of the designer camos.

My wife thinks its "pretty" so it won't work for me. :)

They need to bring back fall brown instead of making this crap!

Looks cool. I'll stick to my FG, SG, and limited amounts of BD.

I'll second that motion. I have some FB and FG and 1 Deception Fleece Coat. I am thinking the Fall Brown actually blends better than any of it. The Deception is nice too.

BTW...I can't justify spending several hundred dollars on a suit from GWW. I'd love to but I just can't. Anyone have any used GWW they'd be willing to part with? :D I'm serious though....

I will have to have a better paying job and a lot more understanding wife before I could ever lay down the coin for GWW. Geesh!!! (They do have some nice stuff though)
