Looking to get one but was wondering does the app need internet connection to work?
    Thanks, Paul

I've got a quick question, does this only work with Stealth trail cams, or would it be able to read any SD card from any camera?

It will read any SD card from any camera. It's a generic SD card reader that just so happens to have the Stealth Cam name on it.

Whitetail'r also makes a card reader, which I met the owner of the company at the dealership I work at. Great guy coming out with a lot of awesome products, and local to WI!

Does it make you download the pics to your phone to view them or does it allow you to view pics without downloading?

You can view without downloading them.

Do the pics load/pan faster than the handheld stealth card viewer?

I have the same problem with having to remove the phone case. Kinda sucks because out in the woods is when I need the case the most. Other than that everything else is great.

You can buy small extension cables that would allow you to connect to the phone without removing the case. Personally it doesn't bother me as my case takes about 2 seconds to pop off and then back on.

Does anyone have the issue where your iPhone says that it may not recognize the device because it isn't an apple approved product? Then what do ya do?

I just bought one. Thanks! My case is a pain to take off, so this helps. Being able to view and grab pics and images without having to swap out cards or take a return trip is awesome. Also, great job on the show and all the content here!

Have to find a MFi certified cable. I had this problem with the extension cable I bought. It works fine without the extension cable. Trying to find one now that is certified.

I find it's hit or miss. I picked up a 3-pack of charging cables from Monoprice. Two of the three work without a hitch. For whatever reason the third one often gives me the error and won't charge. Then it'll start working again. On my son's Sea World field trip I got down to 20% before it finally decided to start charging.

I'd also suggest using an extension cable whether you need it or not. It's a good idea to prevent putting undue stress on the connector.

I have the whitetail'r one and another generic one and I'm having problems with both on my galaxy s6 active running 5.1.1. It won't recognize my USB drive at all. Pretty frustrating.anyone else having issues?
