I see he is shooting the Halon 6, whats his draw length/weight and arrow specs? was he using the doublecross? by the way, that mossyoak bottomlands camo is awesome

Dang, I'm surprised you didn't get more penetration on that deer. Those large expandables really eat up your energy. Great episode great footage and you need to rock that bottom lands camo more
As mentioned in the show. I honestly don't think it has much to do with that. Clint has a great setup and plenty of power and arrow weight. Its the spot that he hit which caused lack of penetration. There is a spot right there that is REALLY tough and there is not many setups that would blow through it.
Just watched this episode tonight and I knew it didn't look promising as soon as the arrow got there. i have my set up in my signature and shot a 123lb spike ( thought it was a doe until I recovered it ) and hit the front shoulder blade , and buried into opposite side shoulder. I was surprised that my arrow stopped from this hit as I expected a pass through, but I am happy that I got my deer. I only had an entrance hole but there was still plenty of blood. He ran about 100-120 yards in about 15 seconds. Crazy how bone makes the arrow stop.
Also the deer ducked and spun away, cradling the shot. That deer was on high alert and reacted fast. Too many odds in the bucks favor. good thing is he should be ok. just a punch in the shoulder
