Does this show give the camera to the hunters and let them film there own personal hunts, If so how would I be able to do it, I have all the equipment and have a few hunts booked. Thanks

We're actually in the process of putting together a Pro Staff application program right now, and should have it available to fill out within the next couple of weeks. Anyone can apply and if you're selected as a part of our staff you'll be able to submit hunts to be on our show.

I hope that answered your question!

I'll be on the look out for this. I got all my gear ready to film my own hunts this fall, so either way I'll have some video of me taking my first buck on camera :tu: Well i hope i will get that this year.

I will be looking out for this too. I am filming a lot of "hunting related" things to be a better videographer with the hopes of having my hunts aired one day. This is what I have been waiting to hear about. Thanks Justin.

Sam, I'd love to see you drop that buck that you posted the pic of on cam, if that's an NC deer its a fine one!

And who doesn't want to see PT too...

Does said "applicant" have to promote sponsered equipment?

    (just curious)

At the time of application you don't need to promote anyone or anything. Just tell us why you want to be on our staff and show us some videos of what you can do (amongst a few other things).

If accepted, one of the conditions of course is to promote the companies who Sponsor our site/show.

Do you have a time frame on this? I dont have any video of self filmed hunts since im starting this year, but i do have video of deer and other things. Would that be a problem or no?

You bring me a shirt and I'll wear it in an episode of BHOD at some point this season.

Hopefully we'll be posting info within the next 2 weeks.

As for the footage, it will most likely have to be of hunts (and kills). We're looking to add a couple people to the video team for this fall and we need people who have some experience and have proven they can/will do it. My advice to those who want to get on the team in the future would be to start filming now b/c whether you're trying to get on our team or any other, you'll need some examples of your work to show.

Okay thanks. Looks like ill have to wait till next time around. I have all my stuff i need to start filming this year. I was hoping to get a start by doing some turkey hunts but i didn't draw a tag.

Should i still fill out the application to try and get on like the field staff and just wait to try and get on for video?

So promoting the sponsors... that mean you would have to shoot a Mathews?
