justin for sure, i like the simple stuff esp walking far distances less is better when your alone. lol
I have no clue how Todd carries all of that filming equipment into the woods along with all his other gear. That is one hell of a chore! But hey that is what makes it that much more rewarding in the end.
I chose Justin's just for the simplicity. I'm sure Todd's would make for easier editing to make a show clip based on multiple angles and multiple cams but personally I couldn't deal with that much stuff.
I do good to remember a flashlight. If I had to choose, I'd go JZs route. Holy - lots-o-wires and gizmos in Todds set up.
Didn't you watch yesterday's episode of BHOD? He shows you exactly how he does it. Sent from my iPhone 5S using Tapatalk
What is the small handheld camera that Todd had that he said could be his 4th angle? Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk
Not the small bow Epic cam but the small handheld cam that he said he sometimes grabs and films walking in, or something quick Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk
I personally use the exact same set up as Justin, but when i have my camera woman along we also utilize the dslr Sony s65.
I do the same when I'm with Tommy. We carry my Nikon D7100 with us for b-roll. Todd's a little goofy with the amount of stuff he carries into the woods with him, but that's what makes him Todd. He's kind of like the mad scientist of deer hunting.
100% Justin, its similar to mine but I use home made arms, much more compact, similar to third arm like Todd's but shorter. I dont want to carry as much gear as Todd in the Large tracts of Timber I hunt. I need to keep it lighter!
I really like what Todd does, but trying to manage 3 cameras all in the heat of the action would get me into trouble. I like having my main camera and one second angle camera either on me or set up where I expect to shoot my target. I also have really cut down on the amount of gear I'm carrying into the tree.
I have a Sony Handycam on a tree mounted arm and then a homemade digital camera rig for my hillbilly "Partial Pro", which is what I call it, mounted on my bow
