Well I finally went on my first bowfishing outing. Needless to say if I get addicted to elk hunting this fall, I'll be in trouble. LOL I absolutely had a blast doing this. Wish I had done this a long time ago. A buddy of ours has been trying to get me to go and finally we made time and went. Didn't do that great due to a storm and making the river murky, but it was fun needless to say.

I'm a scrub when it comes to bowfishing, I'm normally sneaking along the banks of a Brook or river w a recurve. Been at it for 35 years n it's never lost its appeal

Did learn one thing though. If your gonna go from dusk til dawn, you better have a strong back. lol Gets rough trying to stand an balance all night. As far as elk hunting, thanks to my job that will be pushed off til next season.

Love bowfishing...I've got an old bass buggy 18' that we run a small setup on...imo its a good way to practice up on the ol' bow skills for when that bruiser walks out!
