So I purchased a bowfishing setup and was wondering if anyone on here fishes off the shore, we have a bass boat but I wouldn't be able to use it for bowfishing. If so how do you do it and how do you find places to fish at?

The nicest spot to fish off shore would be along small streams or creeks that feed into a lake or a pond. Fish will a lot of times hang out at the mouth where the creek feeds into the lake or pond. I usually dress in a camo or something dark so you don't scare the fish as your walking along the creek and also make sure your shadow is on the bank, not on the water because that can spook them as well. I just walk along the bank slowly, using the sun to my advantage if possible and keep a good eye out for a fish or two

Shooting off the banks is a great time too!!!!
Ryan hit it on the head keep your shadow off the water as much as possible. A good set of waders works wonders. Just be sure that you are allowed to shoot wherever you go so you don't have to deal with the dnr up your butt.
