The May 31st 2014 Results for the “Battle Between the Banks” daytime bowfishing tourney are as follows: We has 24 teams, and several family members present as spectators at the weigh-in. David England / Jarvis Farley (Team Force Feed’em) $190.00 Big Fish ($100) Wes Chaffin Smallest Fish ($100) Hayden Floyd I want to thank the following businesses for their donations/support Jeff Neiball from Ndesigns Screenprinting for donations of $100 for big fish, and a box of bowfishing swag for door prizes. Justin Schweiss and Randy Deven from Max-It Out LEDS for their extreme Nav light donation for door prizes. Corey Whitt from Backwoods Taxidermy and Hydro graphics for his donation of custom bow hydro dipping for the door prizes. Bob Esper for donation of the plagues that were given to the winners. I also want to thank The Tennessee Bowfishing club for use of their digital scale for the event. I would like to recognize Shane Newberry from Bloodline TV for his help with the regestrstion/Weigh-in and Brett Miller for running the scales at weigh-in and making things go as smoothly as it did. Next year we plan on moving down the road to a new venue to allow from even more vehicles and boats, due to the expansion of participants each year. We have a ton of fun every year at this event. If you leave without a smile on your face it is your own fault The water was a little dingy/stained this year, but the weather was nice and the fish were up real good. We awarded $1,160.00 in cash plus door prizes too. We had 24 teams participate and lots of family members came to the weigh-in to cheer their loved ones on.
