I don't really have to worry about ice much however our river depends on the snow melt from the moutains and has to be released out of the reservoir for irrigation systems. So we are really low right now so not many fish. But in another month it will be really good. Take some pictures once you get out I'd love to see them.

Sweet, good news!!!!! Hope i get to check it out, i have yet to handle a tidal wave! The finger savers that come on there are okay, if you find that they are too small or "roll" off your fingers too much, you can use that fuel line like i mentioned before, and that works really well, and yes Pete or I can install them for ya. Its slim, its durable and it comes in a bunch of colors. Cant wait for this ice to melt i have one brand new bow to draw first blood with and another that has had a bunch of mods done to it! Im super excited for some unfrozen water

Nick that is sweet!!! Soon as I get it I will find a time to swing by so you can check it out and make sure it is all setup correctly!! Hopefully we can get out and shoot some fish together soon as the ice is gone!! I don't know where to go around here.

Thanks!! What bodies of water are around you? I bowfish the Kishwaukee river, Illinois river, Desplaines river, Fox river, Shabbona lake... Lots of options just gotta be careful of city regs if you are shore fishing!
