Ok I'm going to post some pics of the build in my shop of my buddy's tournament boat. Were completly changing everything, all fabrication and welding was done by us. Enjoy! this is what it started as! He bought it from another of our friends and tourney team mate!
Comming along nicely, needs vertical supports, light mounting tabs, and round tube around top edge to protect reel string when fish are on! Aluminum cup holders installed Round tube installed on edges, just needs the welds smothed on joints
Fabbing of the fold down 2 nd console. This is for the joy stick that controls the 9.9 kicker motor for trolling fold down console, pin and aluminum cup holders done
Jordan had the idea of cutting out the fiberglass live well in front of the primary console, fabbing an aluminum tray and mounting 3 battery's in it. There now out of the way and centered in boat. 4 bank onboard charger installed as well
We cut a lot of cardboard and used pins for pivots before we built the Jack plate for 9.9 kicker motor. We're getting 13" of lift from it to get kicker out of water when running big motor steering for kicker controlled by home made joy stick and switches
Making the mounting bracket for the hydrolic unit that runs the Jack plate! I welded this with a mig but it looks like it's been tig welded, yes I'm proud!
We got the unit mounted, we also cut out a section of rear seat and installed a waaay bigger fuel cell! 31 gallon .We can do long runs now without carrying extra gas containers
Pretty proud, they made me a tourney shirt, gonna be a big year! got a new setup and been breaking it in lately! We're BHOD is hooked up with fin finder now, the Bow is a slick shooter! the other night on our other tourney buddy's air boat in back water, it was very cold, look at my cheeks. 496 ci
Thanks guys, plenty more to come! Lots of wireing. Interior and exterior strip lights, 3 LED front mounted driving lights and more!
