2016 Colorado Elk camp invite!

    Hey everyone just wanted to let everyone know that Will (IAMYOURHUCKLEBERRY) is having his elk camp this year. It will be September the 17th or 18th-25th. He provides the tents and some food but any one is welcome. You can find a group of guys to hunt with that know a little bit about the area and share camp with us. If anyone is interested or wants more info let me know. A couple guys on here have attended before so hopefully they will share their thoughts and experience. This is not a guided hunt. We usually all pitch in with camp chores and give Will a little cash for food. Tags are OTC so thats nice. Hope to see you there.

    This is truly the best way to get your feet wet. I always wanted to hunt out west but was nervous about having to do everything my self. Will's camp takes the camp part out of the equation.

    Haha. Good to hear. I'll be in Colorado for sure. Not sure where. I'm trying to get 2 weeks off from work and if I do I'll be joining Bails the 1st week. If we are on elk we might stay there.

    Ok. I know I'll be down there just not sure when. As long as I'm not too busy at work, I'll take 2 weeks off. Only thing is this year, I won't have anyone to cover for me like I had last time.

    Well if you have the money for it then I think it's worth it. So many deer running around up there it's crazy

    Ya I bought a new backpack already this year. Need a more compact pack and possibly a 1 man tent. Also thinking about buying kuiu clothing.
