Hi everyone! I am new to hunting, and trying to understand more about elk behavior. Can someone explain to me why this elk is behaving in such a way with the horses?

    Thanks!

Testosterone. He's showing his oats. Wants to get it on. Somehow he's managed to lose his elk buddies. Probably got run out of the herd by a dominate bull and he's too young to figure out what to do next.

Hey, appreciate the response! I was really puzzled by what that elk was trying to do, like, he doesn't like the horses or he was being territorial or ...? Thanks for the explanation!
