Has anyone tried it yet for out west hunting? I just purchased one for an Elk hunt in 2016 in Colorado. I didnt need a frame pack for what were doing. We horseback from base camp into the mountains, park Horses and hunt. If we kill we pack out with horses! seems like a good pack, its light and plenty of room for what ill be packing including camera gear!

Similar to the Clutch I have from Badlands and I love my pack. Plenty of room for food, knives, game bags, camera, water bladder, and all the personal must haves that are decided on for the day..or four.. when you head out. I don't think you will be disappointed with the pack but only you will know that in the field.
