Just booked an archery antelope hunt for my wife and I. It will be with Table Mountain Outfitters in Wyoming. She has not taken a goat so this will be an excellent chance. I hunted there a few years ago and took a 75" buck with my bow. I plan to video her hunt and then I'll try to do my thing. She hadn't hunted before we got married but has caught on fast. She's taken whitetails, elk, a muley, black bear, turkeys and a desert bighorn sheep. Can't wait for her to bag her first antelope.
Wow where did she take a desert bighorn ram at? Super impressive! Ill be not far from you Antelope hunting come Aug 22!
A couple of years ago she and I both drew desert bighorn tags in Nevada, where we are residents. It took me 17 years and her 11 to draw the tags. The ironic part is we both drew the same unit. I'll try to post the pictures of our rams. Her ram was about 8-9 years old and had broomed off some of the tips. Mine was about 7 years old.
Very Beautiful Rams! Congrats on drawing the tags! Good luck on your goat hunt! I booked a goat hunt as well, although with a different outfitter. When are you going on your goat hunt? I leave New York, and make the drive to Wyoming on the 12th to make it for opening day!
I'll be hunting right outside Buffalo in August. You'll have to swing by camp one night for a beer or three.
