Hey guys Here is the problem: Me and a group of guys were planning a archery hunt to WY for elk this coming fall. We applied for a preference point the year before (1 pt. = 80% odds in 2013) thinking we would have a good chance at getting drawn. As the title implies, we didn't get drawn.. Anyone have any ideas for places we could still have a chance at going to for elk in the fall of 2014? We are flexible on the state and are looking at a DIY hunt. We are able to handle all types of terrain. I'm thinking of OTC tags or leftover tags from drawings but do not know each state's policies on this stuff. Any help is appreciated! Thanks
