This sassy little lady was spotted near my 2014 camp. I dropped my pack after getting just trashed in the canyons and took a walk with bow in hand. I spotted this one about 115 yards out and decided to play. She came by at 25 yards and faded out into the sunset, ... My sunset lady - That was cool. Here's a couple of pics from an elk hunt that my dad tagged along on a few years ago.... Pretty cool memories... Bunch of cool sunsets, got hailed on pretty good like 3-4 times, literally wore the tread off my boots - luckily I had two pairs along...
Great pictures!! Funny, those boots look like a pair I hadn't worn in a while. Couldn't figure out what the black crap was in the hallway and in my office at work one day. By chance, they weren't Rocky boots were they??
The boots that the tread peeled off were Itasca's... Technically those were my backup boots as I had a nice pair of Danner Sierra's that had gotten pretty wet that morning so I had left them in camp to dry.... It was kinda funny, I was sitting there glassing and saw a bunch of rubber on the ground and thought "somebody's boots imploded".... As soon as that thought entered my mind I realized I was in the middle of no where - what were the odds... Looked down at my boots and that's when i took the pic...
