I was really hoping qad would have come out with a limb driven rest this year is there any talk about that at the show
It is a drop away rest that falls as the Limbs release so it is suppose to give the arrow a more true flight Hunt hard and live easy
Just ordered mine they said il have it by Tuesday I can't wait this rest is bad *** the best ever made with micro adjust.its a down ward cable rest not limb activated
No one wants a limb driven rest unless it's a bottom limb rest cause the pros are saying it's causeimg top cam lean if to tight when drawn so the companies are starting to clear from limb style rests again they just don't sell its more of a tuning issue with limb style plus most are having issues with quiver clearance
Limb driven rests are very much underrated. They have several positive traits that make them a good choice for many shooters especially for someone without a bow press. First you can set most up without a bow press or draw board. To properly set up a cable driven rest a draw board is a must have. Limb driven rests do not apply tension to any cable, a cable drive rest will in some cases change your tune with the extra tension applied to the cable. More so if you not very diligent in proper placement. It not uncommon at all to loose let off and valley with some cable driven systems. Limb driven rests can be reset and re tied any place for the most part and function properly, like I stated above no draw board is needed. They are also very robust for the most part with the only major moving part being a spring and cord. The one complaint you will often hear is having the extra cord and the possibility of it snagging ect. I think personally is somewhat over stated and no more prone to issues then a cord on a cable driven rest. Like anything there are positives and negatives and no absolutes.
Exactly I said I was hoping they came out with one that was limb driven I don't feel as though they changed this new on much from last year which doesn't really make me want to run out and drop a hundred bucks just to have the new one. Hunt hard and live easy
