Well here we are again boys and girls! The ATA show officially starts next week and we'll be there, working our tails off to bring you guys the best coverage of all the new gear and happenings. A few of us are headed down on Sunday afternoon for some Monday meetings with clients and sponsors. So we'll get as much pre-show info loaded up on Monday as we can to give everyone a sneak-peak as to what is going on.

For those who don't know, the ATA show is the "Archery Trade Association" annual trade show that brings all of the archery manufacturers together to showcase their new products to dealers, buyers and media people. It is an industry-only show and you must be an ATA member to get in. The ATA has really cracked down on us Media folks getting into the show in an attempt to weed out some of the riff raff. Every dude with a camera and a YouTube channel was trying to get in as "media" and it was really watering down the coverage. We had to spend nearly $2,000 just on our badges this year! Hopefully what this means is easier and better access to vendors and new products for accredited media people, which means more and better coverage for you guys.

Our focus for this year is more on quality than quantity. So you can expect there to be a few less videos and blog posts, but the ones we do make will have more product information in them. And yes, we will be covering our sponsors' products first! So please get your whining out now so we don't have to hear it next week. :whip:

As always if you have any specific requests please post them here. We'll do our best to get coverage on the products you want to know about.

If anyone has any suggestions on how you want to see the coverage published here let us know. We're open to ideas.

Request. Look at and report on a new drop away rest by Buck Rub Gear. Its the first and only drop away rest that uses no springs. Would like your opinion of the rest. We were brought on board by them to design the rest and do all the 3D CAD modeling of the rest and to make their prototypes on our 3D printer.

Full containment (if you want it to be) Super fast drop, No bounce, no springs, Cable or limb driven and very quiet. Interested in what you guys think when you see it.

Would love to see some coverage in advancements of camo jackets and pants from major manufactures. Scentblocker, Scentlok, Sitka etc. The space is pretty crowded and it would be cool to see what their differentiators they are pumping if any for 2017. Might not be the most interesting topic however, the board is always full of folks asking camo related questions and comparing brands.

Sure thing! I know ScentLok has a new Tactix jacket that uses NeverWet technology to shed water. It looks pretty slick, although I haven't seen it in person yet.

I would like to here on cross bows designed for youth hunters. My son's will be able to shoot deer next year at the age of six. I am wanting to get a cross bow for them until they get big enough to pull the draw weight on a bow.

I hunt out of the alpha stand. I was just wondering if they might make a new seat with more padding. And was going to see if there going to do anything new to the climbing sticks.
