Anybody trying specifically for a gobbler? I'm personally gonna shoot a gobbler or jake not gonna be picky. Only killed one with a bow and that was in fall and a lucky hit.

    BB4tw checking in.

Looking forward to this year's season. My hunting grounds got flooded out last year so this year has to be better. I got more ground lined up this year so my odds have already improved.

Checking in, I cannot wait till April 2nd. I see a few familiar team members here. I am on family fun Gatlinburg trip this weekend, but will check trail cams over food plot Sunday evening, hopefully, I see the big fella from last year I couldn't get.
In addition, I scored a sweet lease in KY, and may hunt Ft. Campbell a few times this year, lots of opportunity.

    Checking in guys
Hopefully this year is my year to finally get a bird.
I have a second season tag here in Illinois. Unfortunately that only allows me to hunt for a couple days.
But I'll give it hell !

Hey bud good luck this season.
You might want to check the regs there.
When I hunted there you could only shoot a bearded turkey in the spring.
Not sure if you meant any bearded bird or just any bird but I wouldn't wanna see you get in trouble.

Yeah I see how you could get confused. I was talking gobbler or jake. Sorry for the confusion. I'm up to 6 total turkeys including one with a bow. Yeah, once again sorry for confusion. Pretty sure I can put some feathers down again this year, as I have for 5th past 5 years in a row, but that's no guarantee especially with a bow. That's why I posted that earlier meaning I'm not waiting just on a gobbler. Thanks for looking out for me though, I appreciate it. Good luck this season!

Tags are for male birds only in Nebraska's spring season.

I'm not going to be picky.

Checked cameras, as I drove up I saw the big fella, tried sneaking up on him on my truck but that didn't work. Checked cameras and had one hen, but I did get a nice suprise. Photo attached.

Well struck out the past 4 days. Worst I've seen it on our farm, since I started turkey hunting 10 years ago.
