I like that Dubbya has been on half of the winning teams

 

Yea, Been back to back winners twice.

 

Ya you would think he would let other win. What a jerk!

 

Last year we had around 330 enter. I don't think we've hit 300 yet this year. Hopefully the lack is the ones that enter only to never be heard from again.

Total inches from the winning team has dropped off substantially the past two years, after being nearly identical the two years prior.

Honestly one must look at points per team member to truly compare:

2008: 537 4/8 divided by 4 = 134.375 pts/member (19 teams)
2009: 837 6/8 divided by 8 = 104.719 pts/member (21 teams)
2010: 1153 4/8 divided by 10 = 115.350 pts/member (20 teams)
2011: 1097 1/8 divided by 10 = 109.713 pts/member (28 teams)
2012: 1312 4/8 divided by 12 = 109.375 pts/member (38 teams)
2013: 1314 3/8 divided by 12 = 109.542 pts/member (33 teams)
2014: 1196 6/8 divided by 12 = 99.729 pts/member (34 teams)
2015: 1023 6/8 divided by 12 = 85.313 pts/member (31 teams)

Clearly the first team ever had an insanely good year and is the "greatest" team assembled yet...

...that said it has been very clear lately the winner has typically had a team of active guys/gals that don't just sign up and are never to be heard from again!

 

That team 10 was full of a bunch of killers. I'm pretty sure we came in 2nd in 2014.

If a team averages a 100 inches a person they will be in the thick of it each year. Pretty cool how that works out.
