Does anybody have any big hunting trips planned this year? I have a couple that I'm excited about! Starting off in September with a New Hampshire black bear hunt. This will be my first time hunting bear so I'm pumped! Then a buddy and I drew tags to rifle hunt mule deer here in Nebraska. Also my first time hunting mulies. I plan on bowhunting and scouting in October for my rifle hunt. The place has plenty of cover so I plan on trying some spot and stalk action if I glass something good! I'm going to go check my cams and put out a couple more in the next week or so. I'll post pics if I get something good on cam

Good luck with black bear and mulies. No big trips this year. Taking dad out next year for elk in SW Colorado. Already excited about that.

Our son was born in April. Just planning on taking it easy and hunting whitetail only. Should be some good bucks around. Big, mature and smart.

I don't really have any trips planned other than travel around to my spots in Illinois in hopes of getting a nice one

Just put my trail cams back out about a week ago. Getting a new bow in a couple weeks just in time to get dialed in before season.

Checking in, I dont have any trips planned. I haven't run any cams at all this year. Been so busy with the vegetable operation that haven't had time I have however been seeing three slobs around the property! Can't wait to turn loose an arrow!

My biggest disappointment so far this off-season is that I lost my primo piece of property that has given me 4 of my 6 bucks on my wall. The owner received an offer he couldn't refuse to sell it at a premium so I need to start looking for a new piece to hunt!

on a side note the buck I hit with bow last year is still running and looks healthy as ever.. saw him last night. e is 21-22 inside 8 point with 8 inch tines. very similar to last year. he was 25 yards from my truck, tried to take a pic with my cell phone and phone froze! go figure! lol

Putting stands up this weekend along with trail cams. Trying to get my son to start sleeping through the night before hunting season. That will allow for a lot more hunting and a happier wife. Happier dad too.

Looking forward to seeing what is around. We will be doing some fall food plots before the end of the month too. Few other small projects and I'll be good to go.

Need to start shooting my bow. I've really slipped on that.

Moving back to GA a week before the opener. Good thing I bought a lifetime license for NC. I have some nice bucks to get after on my property there.
