I'm Dave. I live in St. Louis and hunt 210 acres of private land in northern MO. Due to work and a 6 year old I don't get out as much as I'd like but when I do go it's generally a four day weekend. Hopefully I'll get to make four trips this year. We've got one nice 10 pt. on camera but that's about it for a hit list. We've got a nice population of does though so maybe they'll bring in some nice bucks during the rut. I'm not gonna lie to anyone though... I'll be happy with a doe. -D
I have two leases and one public piece that doesn't get much pressure during bow season. Early season it's all about the does. I'm going to Colorado first week of September. That would be nice to tag out there and have that on our score sheet. LOL
Howdy guys! Looking forward to being on a team with you this year. I'm from Southeast Ohio where the chipmunks are huge and the deer sleep all day. Don't hold it against me but I'm gonna shoot the first chipmunk I see with horns! Will that get us any points? Anyways, I will be filming my hunts this year and will post them here if I have some success. Started a group last year called Shedding Light Outdoors with 3 of my buddies and we enjoy filming our hunts. Team 8! I'm from central Connecticut. Currently scouting several new pieces of public land which look to hold some promise. Looking to put a doe down early this year as I have new access to a friends walk in cooler. Going to finish dialing in the bow this week and the wait starts. Name is Clinton, hunting mostly provate ground in Morgan County in west central IL. Try a little public land every now and then but get discouraged easily Already have my vacation in for Nov. 4th -13th plus final weekend in October and every Fri-Sun in November. Season opens on the 9th of September. I will be out unless it's ridiculously hot..which I think is what happened last year.
Slider...apparently I'm not very observant today. Says you are from Central MD. That mean Balt county area? I actually live in Balt county now but grew up on the Eastern Shore and still hunt down there.
Ohio opener is September 24th. My cousin asked me to play in a golf scramble that day so unfortunately...he will be golfing alone.
