I hear ya. I'll be hunting four states; Kentucky, Missouri, Tennessee and Arkansas. Kentucky bow season opens on the 3rd of September. Unfortunately, I'll have to wait until the following weekend, but 10 September isn't far away.
Bobcat031 checking in! Looking forward to another season! I live and hunt in Michigan. I've been bowhunting over 40 years now. I started with a Recurve Bea bowr and then used several compound bows over the years. I currently hunt with a crossbow because of shoulder problems. Me and my family love venison so I guess I'm what you call a meat hunter. I try to take a doe and a 6 point or better buck. I have taken a few nice 8 pts and a couple decsent 10 pts. in the pass. So I hope I can contribute to our team
Hey guys checking in from West Central WI. I am going to pre apologize but not really apologize for my lack of communication coming soon. I will be headed out to Colorado next Wednesday for my first ever archery elk hunt with my dad and a long time family friend. Should be a good time. Good to see most of the team getting checked in!!! I'll be hunting central Kansas with a couple good deer I'll be chasing! Season opens up September 14th!!! Definitely looking forward to the season starting. I hunt southeast Nebraska and maybe a little bit in northeast Nebraska late in the season. I've been on a dry spell the last couple years, both of the farms I hunt were hit very hard a few years ago by EHD and haven't made much of a recovery. There seems to be a little more deer sign again this year but still pretty sad compared to what it used to be. This year we will also have a couple small properties close to town that I'll be able to hunt this year. I picked them up late in the season last year and did see deer on both but wasn't able to close the deal, maybe they will pay off this year.
I will be Hunting East Texas. You might just say the Back 20acres. took this guy late gun season last year.
Yea, Yea, Yea. I'm slow!! We went to Arkansas to get a 3pt sprayer Saturday then went to the State Fair here in MO yesterday. I hunt only Missouri. Hopefully I'll be able to help out some. If not in MO I'm going over to Zink's place to chase some of those monsters he has........ foodplot19 checkin' in!!
