I hunt NW GA and just got a new lease in middle TN.

i'm not sure we'll win... but we definitely will have a good time . I love this time of year, it all begins again. Like the reset button on a video game!

Checking in boys! I hunt mostly public land 4.5 hours from home here in northern IL. Plus, I mix in some small private land around here, but have only taken a couple deer on those properties due to high pressure. Unfortunately, all of those properties that I hunt around home has CWD deer. I have killed 3 bucks since '09 that tested positive for that crap. As was said before we may not win, but we should have a good time.

Being on a winning team in the past I can tell you that it is not about all of us killing monster bucks. Instead it was the amount of deer taken. That year, most of our team entered (2) deer. Those points add up quickly!

 

Dang, it will take me a month to see that many bucks!! Awesome!

 

That one on the right looks ancient.

 

I hunt in NW GA most of the time and I usually don't get bucks like this. My dad got us on a good lease so we are trying to take the best of the opportunity and get my son his first deer.

 

Checking in y'all. I hunt in several parts of Kentucky. Then moving to Arkansas in late season around Christmas. Looking forward to a new year. Also, looking forward to hunting with my new bow (Elite Impulse 31)!!! Let's have fun and give it our best shot!!

 

Agreed. In 2014 the team I was on came in 3rd (also team 2). There was one member on our team that had a bad year and didn't kill a buck or doe. If they could have killed a doe and a small buck we would have won. It was that close. But it is all about having fun so I wouldn't never pressure anyone into shooting something they aren't comfortable with taking just to try to win.

 

Checking in, I hunt Midwestern Indiana. Looking forward to a fun filled season.
